The Serviceberry Book Study July 23
Book Study on "The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World" by Robin Wall Kimmerer from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in the Simpson Room at Olivet Campus. Contemporary Issues Forum Aug 5

Cub Scouts Annual Raingutter Regatta & Flag Retirement Aug 16
The Cub Scouts Pack #4077 will be conducting a flag retirement ceremony at 10 AM Aug 16 at the fire pit at St Marks Campus.
Afterward, they will have their lunch in the parish hall.
At noon, they will be setting up their annual raingutter regatta competition and the race is scheduled to begin at 1 pm. If you would like to attend the ceremony (not the lunch) you are most welcome.
Summer Movies - ROOTS Jul 20-Aug 24
Join us at 5 PM in the Simpson Room at Olivet Campus for 6 consecutive Sundays to watch ROOTS the miniseries. Each episode is about 1.5 hours. Drinks & desserts are provided, please bring food to share for movie night!

Walk, Bike, and Roll to Worship Week Sep 14 2025
In honor of Fairfax County's 'Walk, Bike, and Roll to Worship Week', we encourage church members to group walk or bike ride to worship. Rain date is September 21. More information to come.

All Saints Sunday Nov 2
On All Saints Sunday, we light candles to remember the faithful who have died over the past year. This service also includes a healing prayers. This is a traditional service which began 2022.
Christ the King Sunday Nov 23
On Christ the King Sunday, the parishioners' pledges received during the Stewardship Campaign are placed in a netted package tied with ribbon and are blessed with a special prayer from the rector.

Our traditional Christmas Eve service with Silent Night sung by candlelight. Generally a collection is given to the rector at this service.

Lessons and Carols (Lay-Led) Dec 28
A new tradition requested by parishioners is a lay-led Lessons and Carols Service. Folks are asked to wear their Christmas Sweaters, Sweatshirts, Christmas socks, etc. This is a casual laid-back service which has been enthusastically embraced by the parishioners.
